‘$OUND ADVICE’ about ~focusonics~
"An Ultrasonic Bath is a tool to assist a suitable detergent / disinfectant in the cleaning process"
Ultrasonic activity provides the necessary scrubbing action to remove contaminants that have been broken down by a cleaning solution. This ultrasonic "scrubbing brush" is so effective is that it enhances the performance of standard solutions by many times the norm.
Originally developed for jewellers and watchmakers, ultrasonic cleaning is now universally accepted by many other industries ranging from Healthcare (both human and/or animal) to Manufacturing, Commercial Cleaning to Maintenance. An efficient means of thoroughly removing contaminants and impurities, from both visible and hidden surfaces, ultrasonics "makes difficult cleaning jobs safe and easy".
When ultra-high frequency sound waves, (above audio range), are passed through a solution the process called cavitation is created. Countless microscopic vacuum (not air or gas) bubbles appear and disappear (implode), within a fraction of a second. The suction and pressure impulses of these bubbles create high energy which safely pulls debris and foreign particles from the surfaces being cleaned.
During the 'bubble implosion period' the penetration of the post-vacuum inrush of detergent/disinfectant solution is intensified by a significant drop in surface tension. The detergent level in the solution combines with the 'electronic scrubbing brush' to break down and then safely dislodge contaminants in a very short period of time.
'focusonic' cleaning will reach where brushes and hand cleaning simply can not, even those places you can not see, so you can be sure that the item has been effectively cleaned.
'focusonic' cleaning does not scratch or mark the items being cleaned, a problem that can occur with hand or mechanical scrubbing or abrasive cleaners or pads.
The elimination of physical scrubbing or scraping reduces the risk of cuts or skin punctures that lead to possible infection and danger to staff.
